Captain Ron's History~

Captain Ron’s Original Dells Jet Boats has been independently owned and operated since 1997.  Captain Ronald Yohn is the owner and chief Captain of our operation.  He grew up in Wild Rose, Wisconsin, and is a 10-year Navy Veteran where he was a LoadMaster on DC-9’s.  After flying all over the world, he decided to move back home & start up a Jet Boat business.  His love of both nature & the Wisconsin River is evident in every tour.

Captain Ron’s Original Dells Jet Boats has now been in business for a proud 14 years.  We are excited for every season to get here and sad when the summer ride is over every fall.  Our small company is perfect for those passengers that are looking for that extra personal time and care that only a small company can give.

Captain Ron’s Original Dells Jet Boats is the first Jet Boat Company in the Midwest.  We currently have two boats named the Miss Wisconsin & Miss Dells.  Our company was located further north of our current location when we started out, but then moved to the Sandstone Pub & Grill (formerly known as Hagen’s Tavern).  The location is just 3 miles north of Wisconsin Dells on the backside of Black Hawk’s Island on the Upper Dells of the Wisconsin River.
